What makes my first “official” 5km run exceptional and remarkable???
♥ It’s FREE! No registration fee required.
♥ HYUNDAI FUN RUN is for the benefit of
♥ The singlet is nice! I love the design, the color, and the material used.
♥ Water! Water! Water! Overflowing of water! Not just drinking water but mist water from fire truck that is situated near the finish line! I guess they put it up to avoid heatstroke among participants.
♥ I saw lots of friends during the event, even friends that I haven’t seen for a long time, it was a like a mini reunion for us.
Vic, in the middle, is a friend of mine whom I haven't seen for a couple of years until the HYUNDAI Fun Run
♥ God gave us a perfect weather that day of the event!
♥ The event was properly organized except for what I stated in the lowlight which you can find below.
Lowlight: After the run I went to the baggage counter area to just take some pictures for documentation (I didn’t check-in any baggage in there) and I found out that marshal are having a hard time searching for the bags. I even heard one of the event’s staff having a li’l bit of argument with one of the marshal for a baggage that can’t be found. The lesson here is for a big run event like this, as much as possible, do not leave your belongings to the baggage counter, you may just leave it in your car or in your friend’s car or have a friend (who’s not running) take care of it for you.
